Lucas continues to drag Liam until the door gets kicked shut behind them. It unfortunately looks like they've walked into one of the rooms at his local shelter, but there's a creaking spring bed, so it suits the purpose. If they even make it to the bed. He just drops Liam on the ground once they've reached the middle of the room and starts pacing in front of him, trying to work up some of his old anger. In a moment, maybe he'll remember Liam is there.

Liam pouts a little, about to protest that rule, but anything he may have wanted to say is cut off by a sharp inhale. He moans softly, his heels dig into the bare floor as he attempts to push himself up, relieve some of the pressure below his ribs.

There are warning signs firing in Lucas' brain, memories of Alexi and what happens when you bend the rules, even once. He's already bending them, though, by taking money from someone he expects to see again after tonight. But he needs his morphine and he needs... something about this.

He leaned down to lave his tongue up Liam's neck before biting down with savage teeth.

Liam gasps, a strangled sound, his hands moving of their own accord. It's some kind of reflex that makes him grab Lucas's shoulders in an attempt to push it away, a subconscious desire to be punished more.

It's all years of reflex that makes him growl, sit up with a start, and slap Liam with a backhand across his cheek.

His head jerks to the side and a tiny cry escapes his throat. His face is burning, he doesn't move his head from the floor, just keeps it in that submissive position. He only murmurs, "Thank you."

Immediately after his hand hits, Lucas regrets it. He hates that he feels that weakness, but he does, and it makes him lean down with a wince and press his forehead to the side of Liam's even as his hand draws up, his thumb caressing the deep indentations of his bite. He breathes there for a moment to try to gather back together his strength and then begins to choke him again, rocking back with a slow rhythm.

Something in Lucas's face makes Liam pause, concerned. Tentatively, he reaches a hand up to lightly touch his cheek.

"Are you okay?"

He winces harder, his eyes screwed shut, and tightens his grip on Liam's throat. "Shh," he hisses.

"But--" Sudden constriction of his throat cuts off any protest, so he simply nods and tries not to look worried.

If he wasn't already too pathetic for words, Lucas can feel tears building up underneath his eyelids even as his grip on Liam's throat tightens until his muscles shake with tension.

"Lucas, please," Liam begs softly, reaching up to touch his face again because damn the consequences. "What's wrong?"

He drops his head down as he sits up, his hand releasing and falling to his side. His other wrist lifts and scrubs a dirty smear across one of his eyes as he breathes in, then glares as best he can.

"You wanted this."

"Not at your expense..."

Liam attempts to sit up, loving the pain that movement brings. "If you want to stop... I'll still pay you."

"I am fine," Lucas insists between his teeth and shoves himself backward to stand over top of Liam again, his eyes glaring and wet.

"Okay," Liam replies in a tiny voice. He's shaking under Lucas's glare, fighting the urge to curl up and protect himself.

As he breathes, his sunken chest heaves into the air. He made a promise and he will live up to it if it kills him. "Tell me what you are," he murmurs.

Liam squirms under that gaze, searching for words. "A slut. A desperate little pain-slut and yours to abuse."

It helps to hear. Lucas almost smiles before he rears his leg back and sinks his boot into Liam's side.

Liam moans softly, curling into a little ball on the floor.

"Tell me more." As he breathes the words, he kicks Liam entirely onto his front and then half kneels, grabbing up a tattered leather string from the dirty floor and lashing Liam's wrists together behind his back.

"I don't..." Liam pants, half sobs. "I don't know what you want to hear..."

"Why do you deserve all of this pain," Lucas hums as he finishes tying the knot and then tugs Liam's head back by his hair, forcing him to arch backward.

"Because I'm a whore, because I beg for it," he gasps, desperately saying whatever pops into his mind. "I love it when you hurt me. When you hit me, burn me... It turns me on. I love being called a slut and a whore because that's all I am. And I don't deserve to come but I deserve to be tied up and at your total mercy..."

Lucas crawls two fingers from his other hand around to Liam's mouth and pushes them between his lips. "Suck."

Liam shivers at the command and takes the fingers into his mouth obediently.
